With a background in the high-performance steel industry and precision tooling, I approach every shear with respect for its original design. Improper sharpening can permanently change the way a shear cuts, feels, and wears over time.

Using specialized equipment, Japanese water stones, and professional training, I focus on restoring sharpness while preserving the geometry, feel, and performance that made you choose your shears in the first place.

What to Expect

Scheduling is easy - simply send me a text message to arrange a visit at your salon or barbershop.

I sharpen in my fully equipped mobile workshop, typically requiring 20–30 minutes per shear. While your shears are being serviced, you can continue working with your own backup shears or borrow one of my premium professional loaners.

Your shears never leave your location, and you are never without a quality shear while service is being performed.

Shark Fin Certified shear sharpener.

Trained under two NSG Certified Master Sharpeners.

Equipment includes the Wolff Hira-To, EZ-Vex, Twice-as-Sharp, Foredom jewelry polisher, Tormek T8, Shapton water stones, and other specialized sharpening tools.

Professional shear sharpening: $35 per shear

Service includes inspection, disassembly, deep cleaning, precision sharpening, honing, lubrication & balance adjustment.
